Should I Keep a Spare Set of Painting Pads?

Even if your original paint pads are still in good condition it's good policy to have a spare set. It also makes changing colours easier during a DIY painting job; while the pad you've been using is cleaning itself by soaking face down in a bucket of warm water, just clip in your spare pad and carry on painting without having to stop.

Dont throw out your worn pads ... they will still do a good job on very rough surfaces like render and painting preparation jobs like applying sugar soap.
